At Dunn’s Chapel, we believe that parents are the most influential people in a child’s life. Our job is to partner with you to encourage your child in every area of his or her growth: spiritually, emotionally, mentally, physically and socially. We strive to create programs for children that incorporate lessons on:

in an environment that is safe, friendly, and fun for every child.

Everyone who teaches and cares for children at Dunn’s Chapel must attend a yearly workshop to review the church’s policies about how to safely and appropriately care for children. Each child care worker must also agree to periodic criminal background checks. All classrooms have windows, and a two-adult rule is in effect when teaching children of all ages.

AWANA is a Bible study program that targets children from pre-school through high school. This ministry encourages spiritual growth and memorizing scripture in a fun environment. AWANA means: Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed (2 Timothy 2:15)

Sunday School is a vital part of our children’s ministry. Lessons are prepared for three different age groups: three and four, five and six, and seven to nine. Like the adult classes, the children meet at 10 a.m. each week. Our creative teachers combine Biblical lessons with games and crafts that appeal to children of all ages.

Children ages three to ten enjoy Children’s Church each Sunday during the morning worship service. Older children sit with their parents for the musical portion of the service and then head to their own worship services with their peers.

Dunn’s Chapel also offers programs and events to help teens in their spiritual growth. Our volunteer Youth Team includes parents and grandparents of teens who have a heart for this important age group.

Our newly renovated nursery provides a safe environment for newborns through age two.

A new program started to teach our children the importance and fun of worshipping God with music.
